Which primes you to say okay well these are just another type of livestock. It would be worth pointing out, and maybe the scientists would try to study it more thoroughly because why is this creature that we're trying to eat so friendly and like throwing itself into our mouth? But because you have to hunt them and catch them yourself, they just feel like any other animal that you would hunt and eat like deer or such. It would be way too obvious if they just walked up to you willing to be eaten. I think it's more likely a case of the bugsnax tricking us. Again, I'm not saying this is what I think, just something I want to point out. And while they know they need to be eaten to grow, they may not actually be ready to die for it. So maybe bugsnax have different levels of intelligence. The wildly popular party game Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout has been supported by a steady stream of new content since its launch by developer Mediatonic. Because we're smart enough to know that it's like a whole thing. I don't mean to compare humans to parasites, but when we make babies, it's like a whole thing. If the parasite is intelligent enough, it may know it's biological needs, but may regret giving up its life for them.

Not that this is what I personally believe, but It really depends on the nature of the parasite itself.

But still, why are they like this? Why is it needed to catch them in order to eat them? Wouldn't it make more sense if they just ran into people's mouths like they do at the ending, instead of behaving the way they do throughout the whole game?)Įdit: So I've just read an old post saying that Bugsnax intentionally starve people in order to make them more vulnerable (idk where that appears in the game, but that would be a very solid explanation for their behavior :D) (I forgot to mention that not every Bugsnax is either elusive or aggressive, there's a significant part of them that are just hard to catch, flying high in the sky or having deffensive properties such as flaming or freezing bodies. This could be Elizabert, controlling the Bugsnax in an attempt to keep the residents of Snaktooth island away from the Bugsnax - but even at the start of the game, in the first tape you ever see, before the Journalist travels to the island, we see a Strabby running away from Filbo as he tries to catch it, so why? Why do Bugsnax appear to deffend themselves against being eaten? What are your thoughts on this? They are parasites, and they want to be eaten, so why do they run away from people or attack the people that approach them? BUT in the final part of the game we learn that Bugsnax do want people to eat them, so that they can enter their bodies and infect them, turning the consumers into more Bugsnax. And it's not like they're only being like this towards the Journalist because they are alergic to Bugsnax, the rest of the characters can eat Bugsnax just fine and they mention they struggle to catch and hunt for Bugsnax too.Ī vast majority of these creatures are either elusive or aggresive. during the game pretty much all of the Bugsnax either run away from you or are violent and attack you.
